According to the Lebanese Army, an Israeli military vessel entered territorial waters in the south for one hour and 40 minutes, off Ras al-Naqoura, at a distance of about 400 meters off the coast.
Also on Tuesday, a UAV belonging to the Israeli armed forces violated Lebanese airspace over the town of Abbasiya al-Ghajar for 20 minutes at
an altitude of around 300 meters.
According to a statement by the Guidance Directorate, the Israeli drone left Lebanese airspace afterwards in the direction of the occupied territories.
Both violations of Security Council Resolution 1701 are being monitored in coordination with the United Nations Interim Forces (UNIFIL).
In the last few hours, the Lebanese Islamic Resistance revealed the presence of a spy device planted by Israel near Al-Abbad on Lebanon’s southern border.
The two countries have technically been at war since the establishment of the State of Israel. Many crimes and aggressions throughout these years remain in the memory of the Lebanese people who faces Tel Aviv’s ambitions to seize the water from the Litani River and the country’s oil and gas.
