The vice president, together with the other nominees for the 10th Legislature, met with workers from Havana’s Refractory Factory.
They also visited the Gamarra community, where they met with local residents, and were accompanied by the first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the province, Yuniasky Crespo.
Valdes wrote on his Twitter account, that they also met with workers from the Food Wholesale Base Business Unit (UEB) and the Sandino UEB for construction materials.
The two candidates met with the members of the Gelma marketer in that territory (a business group in charge of managing the logistics of the agricultural sector). They also met with the staff of the Güines Norte polyclinic.
Until March 24, the candidates will visit several areas in Mayabeque province, and will hold meetings in communities, schools, and production and service centers that will allow the people to meet their needs.
