Shoigu checked the construction pace of various works and the availability of those already carried out, including a multi-purpose medical center, a rescue operations site and a new residential neighborhood with twelve five-story buildings.
The minister also reviewed other projects being undertaken in the region, such as the aqueduct that will connect Don River with the Severski Donetsk-Donbass canal, which will supply water to numerous towns.
Shoigu highly valued the work of the military public works sector and thanked the builders involved in restoring the social infrastructure in Donbass, badly damaged since the start of armed clashes in 2014.
