Russian army occupies Stupki railway station in Donetsk

Moscow, Feb 5 (Prensa Latina) The militia of the Donetsk People's Republic reported that units of the Russian army completely expelled the Ukrainian forces from the Stupki railway station, north of Artyomovsk.

As published this Sunday by the people’s militia on its Telegram channel, the Russian forces finished assaulting and clearing out the train station on the northern outskirts of Artyomovsk, and that area of the city is now fully under the control of the fighters of the Wagner PMC.

Heavy fighting is taking place in the city of Artyomovsk (known as Bakhmut to Ukrainians) located in the part of the Donetsk People’s Republic still under Kiev´s control and is a major transportation hub for supplying Ukrainian forces in Donbass.

Back on February 16th, the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, claimed that Russian forces had taken the main heights near Artyomovsk.
