The Salamieh Municipality Hospital received the bodies of the three victims who were shot to death with automatic weapons while collecting truffles in desert areas, the Hama Police Headquarters reported.
Hours before this attack, at least eight civilians were killed and another 80 injured by the explosion of a mine planted by Daesh radicals in the eastern province of Deir Ezzor.
Sixty-eight persons were killed on February 17th by Daesh terrorists in the southeast of the city of Al-Sukhna, in the eastern end of the province of Homs.
On February 27th, at least 10 others were killed and 12 injured by the explosion of two explosive charges in the Syrian province of Hama, some 200 kilometers north of the capital.
The Islamic State is increasing its attacks in the Al-Badieh desert. According to informations from Damascus, its members receive logistical support, protection and intelligence information from the US military in the Tanef region.
According to analysts, Daesh has resorted to gang warfare and attacks based on clear intelligence instructions to wear down Syrian troops and their allies since its defeat in 2018.
