As Lieutenant General Igor Kirilov, commander of the Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Protection branch of the Russian Armed Forces, explained to the press, there is evidence that Western countries have supplied Ukraine with a large quantity of antidotes against toxic agents.
Kirilov added that NATO has already shipped to Ukraine some 600,000 vials of antidotes against organophosphates such as sarin and soman, as well as three million antispasmodic pills.
They also supplied some 750,000 bottles of phenacyl chloride inhibitors to treat poisoning with mustard gas, lewisite and hydrocyanic acid derivatives.
The senior officer assumed that the United States and its allies are preparing a stage for the use of toxic substances in Ukraine and after put the blame on Russia.
“In case there are provocations with the use of toxic agents, we will discover and punish the perpetrators,” Kirilov said.
