The president will also hold talks with Prime minister Li Keqiang and the chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Li Zhanshu.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that China is seeking with this visit an advance in cooperation, expansion into new sectors in order to achieve more benefits for both parties.
Last week, the foreign ministers of China and Belarus held telephone talks and examined bilateral issues and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Foreign Minister Qin Gang assured that China is ready to implement consensuses reached by the two presidents, maintain high-level contacts, and deepen cooperation and mutual political trust.
The two diplomats exchanged their views on the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Qin also explained China’s position and reaffirmed its call to seek a solution through negotiations.
