The first of the earthquakes occurred early Monday morning in the southwest of the country, 279 kilometers from Almaty, at a depth of 15 kilometers, with a magnitude of 5.9.
Later, specialists recorded another one, magnitude 5.6, on the border between Kyrgyzstan and China, 278 kilometers southeast of Almaty, whose hypocenter was located 10 kilometers deep.
Kazakh seismologists later registered a third tremor of magnitude 4.2, also on the border between China and Kyrgyzstan, with hypocenter located 276 kilometers southeast of Almaty, and also at a depth of 10 kilometers.
So far, no casualties or property damages have been reported.
