A divisional staff was established from the commanders of the army, air force, and field medical service units, Lithuania’s military headquarters reported.

The military drills will take place in Germany until March 10 with the aim of rejecting a response to an alleged war threat and tactical actions in war conditions, according to Brigadier General Arturas Radvilas, commander of Lithuania’s Land Force.

Troops from the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, and Romania also participate in the war games, held at a military base in the German state of Bavaria.

Russia rejected the West’s efforts to position it as an alleged threat against Europe and urged NATO to reach an agreement on inclusive regional security that was turned down in Brussels.
