According to Health Ministry´s latest report, this is a setback after a long-period infection decline; however, death toll scaled down in that time by 18.4%, as from 299 deaths reported in previous week, the figure dropped to 244.

Transmission rate (Rt) rose to 0.91%, but remains below epidemic threshold of 1%. Positivity rate also surged by 5.8% following 506,295 tests.

ICU admission rate was 1.3%, while hospitalization rate (in general wards) rose by 5.2%. Four regions are considered to be at high risk, 10 at moderate risk and seven at low risk.
