During the traditional Friday sermon, the deputy head of the Executive Council of the Shiite force, Ali Damoush, stressed that Washington is planning an organized chaos in the country to force the Lebanese to surrender to its conditions and dictates.
In this regard, the Hizbulah representative indicated that in the face of external pressures there is no room for hesitation or surrender, ‘Lebanon will not return to its time of weakness,’ he said.
In the face of US ambitions, Damoush called on all to take responsibility and return to the path of dialogue to confront attempts to erode stability and national security.
He stressed that outsiders would not provide Lebanon with solutions that would take into account the interests of the people, as the United States defends its interests and those of Israel.
Addressing the financial crisis, the Resistance member pointed out that the policy of protecting banks at the expense of the judicial branch reveals the extent of the influence of lending institutions on the State and their control over the country and its citizens.
Damoush highlighted the resistance, willingness and determination of the Lebanese people to defeat the blockade and the persistence of the US administration and its allies to break the nation.
A strike in the education sector, decrease in the purchasing power of the people, collapse of the national currency and high prices of basic needs describe the economic-social reality of the nation, in the middle of the fourth month of presidential vacancy.
