The organizers recalled that from February 27 to March 3, the Cuban capital will serve smokers from all over the world and specialists in the tobacco sector from different markets.
They stressed in a statement that the three aforementioned brands will be the protagonists of all the events planned for that week.
In addition, they explained that live music, gastronomy, and the best of Cuban culture will once again flood both the halls of the Palacio de las Convenciones in this city, as well as the places planned for the visits of the participants.
They consider the election very relevant and that it can please the amateurs, experts and professionals summoned to attend.
During these days, they argued, they have prepared an endless number of activities, workshops, talks and presentations with the cigar as the central axis, and with the aim of continuing to transmit and share knowledge of both its tradition and its entire value chain.
As in previous editions (now in person after the two-year impact of Covid-19), attendees from more than 110 countries will learn first-hand about the news that the international corporation Habanos, S.A. will present during the Festival.
Many of the scoops will appear during the inauguration of the Trade Fair, the most important meeting point for professionals in the tobacco sector, manufacturers of Premium products and artisans. This year more than 260 exhibitors from 10 countries are expected.
They brought forward for the opening night at Club Habana (a facility for foreign diplomats accredited in Cuba) a ceremony in honor of the Montecristo brand and its appreciated Open Line, in which its most recent product will be presented.
In the middle of the festival week, the celebration for the Bolívar brand and La Casa del Habano franchise will take place in the Protocol Room of El Laguito (stage for meetings of the Council of State), to celebrate the 121 years of this type of product.
And the final ceremony or Gala Night will be at the Pabexpo fairgrounds with the evening for Partagás.
In parallel, the International Seminar will be held, which will begin with the Conference The Partagás brand seen through Vitolfilia, they are also programming a new edition of the Habanos World Challenge in which, in pairs, the participants demonstrate their knowledge of the production phases and enjoy Cuban tobacco.
The program will be completed by a visit to the plantations, which this year will take place in Pinar del Río (in the western region of Vuelta Abajo), as well as visits to the Partagás and La Corona factories, to learn first-hand about the entire process of elaboration.
Montecristo appeared in 1935, Bolívar in 1927 and Partagás in 1845, all very high quality products and demand from smokers from all over the world. Habanos S.A. markets 27 Premium (handrolled) brands in more than 150 nations.
