As explained by Eladio Perez, Deputy Collective Health Minister, the new cholera-infected patients are three women (aged 23, 26 and 43), a 60-year-old man and an eight-year-old minor.
All new patients are reported as stable, said Perez, while warning of possible increased infection toll in Holy Week.
