In the framework of the 2023 Global Summit of Women that closed on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi, Ailyn Martinez, second head of the Mission, and Anidelys Rojas, consul, met and spoke with General Women’s Union (GWU) leaders, according to the Cuban embassy in UAE.
Martinez and Rojas attended as guests at the international event where ministers, religious leaders, businesswomen, social activists, cultural personalities and academics presented their papers on women´s role in sustainability and circular economy, leadership in education, science and innovation, as well as their influence in diplomacy and global trends, arts, culture and sports.
Women’s leadership in peacemaking and social integration was major issues at the meeting, organized by the Muslim World Communities Council (TWMCC) and GWU.
