Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid said in a dispatch that during a phone call, Shoukry congratulated Gil for recently assuming his new post.

Shoukry and Gil also analyzed the collaboration between the two countries in international meetings and organizations and how to enhance mutual support on issues of shared interest, the spokesperson said.

Abu Zeid stated that the two officials agreed to continue coordinating at high-level consultations during the next stage.
