In that social network, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez, highlighted the presence of Cuban doctors in that Eurasian country as a show of solidarity in the face of the tragedy caused by the earthquakes that occurred in that country.
The brigade of Cuban collaborators is made up of 20 doctors and 11 specialists in nursing, epidemiology and service personnel, and was located at the Necip Fazil Sehir hospital, in the town of Buyukyapalak, Elbistan, Kahramanmaraş province, in south central Türkiye.
The head of the team, Juan Carlos Dupuy, a clinical laboratory specialist, recently highlighted that upon his arrival they took action to care for three patients in the intensive care area, for which they received the thanks of the hospital authorities and those who coordinate assistance to the victims in this area.
