Szijjarto’s statement came after meeting with the director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China, Wang Yi.

I would like to emphasize once again that we welcome China’s position on the need for early peacemaking in Ukraine. I hope that we can successfully work together to achieve peace,’ Szijjarto told a press conference here.

Wang Yi arrived here on Sunday after visiting France, Italy and Germany and he is expected to conclude his European tour in Russia.

In his statements, he called for peace talks and a diplomatic agreement between the parties involved in the conflict to find a solution for all.
