According to the program of activities, Miguel Mejía, founder and Secretary General of the organization, will hold meetings at Vietnam’s Foreign Ministry and with the President of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Vietnam, Nguyen Phuong Nga.
He will also hold a meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and will be received later on by Nguyen Xuan Thang, member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and rector of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy.
Mejia and his delegation will lay a wreath at the mausoleum to Ho Chi Minh, and will later meet the President of the Commission of Foreign Relations of the Communist Party, Le Trung.
Once the meeting has ended, a cooperation agreement will be signed between the Dominican organization and the Vietnamese Party, and Mejia will be awarded the Order of Friendship.
The Dominican Commission will visit the Oil and Gas Group also on Tuesday, before being received by the Secretary General of the Communist Party Nguyen Phu Trong.
Later on, Mejia and his delegation will hold talks with the heads of the Military Industry, Telecom, and the construction materials corporations. They will also travel to Dien Bien province and tour sites of interest in Hanoi.
