According to the deputy foreign minister, all Leopard tanks, which will be delivered, will be crushed in the Ukrainian camps by the Russian army’s fire so it can be an “absurd” decision.

Ryabkov added that the armored material that the United States and its allies are bringing to Ukraine testify that in the minds of those in charge in Washington, there is no space for a political solution to the conflict.

“We have sent warning signals to the United States, which have meant “not to play with fire”, because they are betting on a full escalation with no alternatives,” the diplomat added.

The deputy minister stated that another “sad aspect” of what is happening is the banalization of using nuclear weapons but stressed that Russia remained committed to the postulate that a nuclear war is unacceptable.
