They talked about the Havana International Book Fair, whose 31st edition is taking place, with the virtual participation of Waerness, at the San Carlos de la Cabaña fortress, in the Cuban capital, according to information released by the Cuban Embassy here.
Gunnar Waerness was born in Trondheim and has lived in a town in Sweden for several years.
His literary debut was in 1999 with the collection of poems Kongesplint, for which he received the Tarjei Vesaas Award, granted by the Norwegian Writers Association.
Among his other collections of poetry are Takk, from 2002, and Hverandres, from 2006.
