According to the MINSAP daily report, on Wednesday, 40 patients were hospitalized, including 24 suspected and 16 confirmed cases.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, Cuba has tested 14,310,483 samples and has reported 1,112,535 positive Covid-19 cases.
Of those diagnosed with Covid-19 on Thursday, two were contacts of confirmed cases and one had no specific origin of contagion.
By age groups, one is under 20 years of age, one is from 20 to 39 years and another one from 40 to 59.
To date, Cuba has reported 8,530 deaths, accounting for a lethality rate of 0.77 percent compared to 1.0 percent in the world and 1.54 in the Americas.
