On the sixth day of the major literary event in Cuba, Casa de las Americas President Abel Prieto will presents this book at the Main Lecture Hall of the San Geronimo College in Old Havana.
Ramonet participates as a guest at this event with a book that analyzes in depth what happened on January 6, 2021, in the United States, an event known as the assault on the Capitol building, unprecedented in the history of the northern nation.
On that day, supporters of the then President Donald Trump, who was defeated in the elections by current President Joe Biden, decided to express their rejection of this result by vandalizing the Congress building, something that stunned the world.
The Wind of the People collection of the Economic Culture Fund, from Mexico’s Tuxpan Bookstore, is also being presented on the wooden street at Plaza de Armas (Arms Square) in Old Havana this Tuesday.
More than 50 countries are represented in the so-called literary party, which will be ongoing in Havana until February 19.
