Roscosmos also reported on its Telegram channel that it continues to monitor from space the consequences of the earthquakes in the southeast of Türkiye, at the same time that it published other photos taken before and after the earth tremors.
Likewise, the space agency said that the images were taken by Russia’s satellites Canopus-V and Resurs-P, which made a sequence of photos from July 21, 2021, to the present.
On February 11, the Turkish television channel Haberturk reported the formation of a giant fault line 200 meters long and 30 meters deep in Hatay province, in southeast of Türkiye.
On February 7, Roscosmos announced the use of all available forces and means of the constellation of Russian satellites to monitor the situation after the earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria.
