14 schools in the Biobío town of Santa Juana and 7 in la Araucanía were destroyed.
In spite of Chile´s present harsh situation, the Education Minister Marco Antonio Ávila assured everything possible will be done so that students can return to classes on March 1s.
One of the first measures will be relocating students to alternative educational centers while ravaged schools are being rebuilt.
The education ministry will also guarantee food service and school supplies to students.
Wildfires, which started 11 days ago, left 24 dead, 1,500 homes destroyed, 6,000 people affected and 425 hectares ruined.
