Lucia argued that since Bolsonaro, who has been in the United States since last December, lost the forum privilegiatum as head of state, it is not up to the Supreme Court to assess the requests.
Actions by congressmen from leftist parties and civil society entities were submitted against Bolsonaro for his deeply involvement in the Sept. 7 act as he issued attacks on the Supreme Court and went so far as to say he would no longer comply with Judge Alexandre de Moraes´ orders.
A lawsuit was also sent to the Federal District Court for an investigation into Bolsonaro for alleged racism crime for statements made involving “quilombolas” (Afro-Brazilians) and Black people.
