Speaking at the 6th edition of the International Petroleum Conference, Al Ghais highlighted Egypt´s achievements in energy market.
Egyptian Petroleum Minister Tarek El Molla also referred to his country’s progress during his opening speech, while pointing out the meeting is being held amid a great number of challenges affecting the international community.
As a result of the Ukraine conflict and the European sanctions imposed on Russia, Egypt managed to scale up its natural gas exports to Europe in 2022.
The meeting was opened on Sunday by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, bringing together government representatives, international energy organizations, investors and businessmen from different parts of the world.
