The Cuban Parliament reported on Twitter that Rodriguez will present his book “La Piel del Lagarto” (The Lizard’s Skin) at the 31st edition of the Havana International Book Fair.
The two countries’ legislative bodies recently acknowledged the excellent state of bilateral relations and the prospects to develop solidarity and collaboration in both directions, at a meeting between lawmaker Edgardo Ramirez, president of the Cuba-Venezuela Parliamentary Friendship Group, and Ana Maria Mari Machado.
Venezuela is participating in the Havana International Book Fair with a broad literary stock that includes titles printed by publishers from the Platform for Books and Reading, attached to the Ministry of People’s Power for Culture: The Dog and the Frog, Monte Avila and Ayacucho Libraries, as well as publications from the Simon Bolivar Study Center, Commander Hugo Chavez’s Institute for Higher Studies of Thought, the Foundation for Culture and the Arts of the Caracas Mayor’s Office (Fundarte) and the William Lara National Assembly Editorial Fund.
