Pakistan sends another batch of aid to earthquakes victims in Türkiye

Islamabad, Feb 10 (Prensa Latina) Pakistan has sent another batch of aid for the victims of the earthquakes in Türkiye, consisting of 250 tents, on a flight from the Islamabad international airport, Radio Pakistan broadcasted on Friday.

Energy Minister Khurram Dastgir assured that the maximum number of winter tents would be sent.

The minister also stated that an air bridge was established to ensure the continuous delivery of relief items to Türkiye and Syria.

Dastgir also said that preparations are being made to move relief items by land and sea, and a truck caravan is planned to both disaster-stricken countries.

Meanwhile, Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation and Social Security Faisal Karim Kundi noted that district-level camps were created to collect relief items for the quake victims.

Senator Talha Mahmood reminded that Türkiye has always supported Pakistan in difficult times.
