The BRICS agreed at its 14th presidential summit held last year to examine requests from countries willing to join its list.
Official sources mention that at least 13 countries worldwide want to take this step.
Upon addressing the issue, former Russian Ambassador to China Andrey Denisov recently told TVBrics that the bloc fulfills the objective of satisfying the needs of each member, exchanging viewpoints, and cooperation in specific areas.
Denisov highlighted the friendship and partnership between Moscow and Beijing, the priority both nations attach to BRICS and other platforms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, their high level of bilateral coordination, and support for a multipolar world.
