Terrorist groups might launch an attack in crowded areas such as hotels, embassies, restaurants, shopping malls, temples, police stations and schools, the statement said.
Following the released statement, the country´s police forces and anti-terrorist patrols decide to increase surveillance on the streets.
A month ago, the U.S. embassy in Tanzania issued an information about a similar situation that never happened.
On August 7, 1998, Al Qaeda members attacked Washington’s embassies in the capital and in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s second-largest city.
