Soil degradation and loss of biodiversity, marine pollution, conservation of mangroves and coral reefs are some of the central areas of deliberations at the event.
Delegates will visit the town of Kalkere and Bannerghatta National Park to showcase the reforestation model adopted by India.
More than 142 delegates from G20 member countries, the European Union, 25 representatives from 10 invited nations and 21 from international organizations will be meeting during the event.
