The document was signed by Cuban ambassador, Ángel Gustavo Suárez, representing the Minister of Health of the Caribbean island, and the head of the sector in Cyprus, Michalis Hadjipantela, according to the Foreign Ministry of the Antillean nation.
The document plans to work with the objective of promoting cooperation between the two States in the field of public health and medical sciences, specifically in the area of pharmaceutical products and in the field of education.
Hadjipantela thanked the effort to strengthen relations between the two countries, which have a long history of bilateral ties, and stressed that through the signing of the memorandum, synergies will be created for collaboration in their area of competence.
For his part, Suárez thanked the minister for his constant work to strengthen ties between both nations and their peoples through this document that will allow the exchange of experiences in these areas and in pharmaceuticals.
