The Ministry stated that the new unmanned aerial vehicle is also capable of performing tasks otherwise dangerous for conventional aircraft.

The drone has a flight ceiling of 3,000 meters, its cruising speed is 195 kilometers per hour, and has a fuel capacity of 2,650 liters of fuel.

The modular design of the components that allow it to take off and land on short and poorly prepared runways, and a cargo and aircraft rescue system to minimize damage in case of accidents,are among its main operational features.

Also, students of the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation created a prototype of a multi-task unmanned cargo aircraft capable of vertical takeoff.
