The Declaration proposed, among other things, to reinforce the exchange of information and good practices of the entities participating in the event, as well as to disseminate the training offers and courses offered by the Academies and Schools of the region.

Also share experiences on institutional policies, training instances and good practices aimed at promoting social inclusion, equity and diversity of genders, cultures, ethnic groups, races and native peoples.

Promote efforts together with the General Secretariat of Ibero-America (Segib) and the competent national actors for the implementation of the Work Plan, resulting from the I Ibero-American Forum of scientific, technological and innovation diplomacy, held on February 28, 2022.

In addition, they were in favor of creating a Technical Secretariat exercised by one or more countries to coordinate the implementation activities of the Association agreements.

The delegates present at the meeting expressed their solidarity with Chile, a country that is facing with enormous effort the forest fires that affect it, Türkiye and Syria, nations affected by a strong earthquake, which caused thousands of loss of lives.

Rectors, directors and delegates of the Diplomatic Academies of Ibero-America and members of the General Secretariat of Ibero-America participate in the meeting.

During the period 2021-2023, the Dominican Republic hosts the Pro-Tempore Secretariat of the Ibero-American Summit, assuming the challenges posed by the transition towards a new global governance and under the slogan Together for a fair and sustainable Ibero-America, it seeks to highlight the spirit of commitment of the Ibero-American Community.
