The official told the Vzgliad newspaper that several unit commanders reported the use of chemical weapons in different sectors of the front, especially in the settlements of Soledar and Artiomovsk.
Gaguin said that a number of soldiers experienced nausea, vomiting and severe dizziness, adding that this is not the first time that the use of chemical weapons by the Ukrainian army has been recorded.
The official stated that weeks ago it was verified that Ukrainian troops sprayed substances from special containers from industrial quadcopters that caused nausea, suffocation and coughing.
In addition, Gaguin stressed that Ukraine’s use of weapons prohibited by the Geneva Convention must be documented and submitted to the United Nations.
