On Monday, three people were discharged, so the total of recovered patients rose to 1,103,861, and since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, 1,112,489 people have been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
MINSAP pointed out that in the last 24 hours, no Cuban patient has died of the disease, so death toll remains at 8,530.
In addition, 90.3 percent of the population has received the full vaccination schedule, while 8,693,838 people have been administered booster doses of Cuba’s homegrown vaccines.
