According to an official information from the state emergency agency, known as AFAD, the first quake was followed by a 6.4-magnitude earthquake, which affected several cities in this nation, including Adana, Malatya, Osmaniye, Sanliurfa, and Diyarbakir, Anadolu agency reported.

The quake’s epicenter was located 27 kilometers from the capital city of Gaziantep.
