As Sheremet expressed this Sunday to the RIA Novosti news agency, the US government should “keep to itself the fairy tales about the discretionary use of long-range missiles by Kiev.”

The deputy also noted that the time has come to completely cut off the corridors through which Western weapons are supplied to Kiev, and to convince the United States and Poland of the futility of aggression against Russia.

In reference to this issue, the head of the Committee on Legislation of the Crimean Parliament, Sergei Trofimov, declared that an attempt by the Ukrainian regime to “recover” Crimea will only lead to a military response, because the peninsula is protected and has sacred significance for Russia.
