Prospects of cooperation for BRICS Development Bank

Moscow, Feb 3 (Prensa Latina) The New Development Bank of BRICS on Friday announced talks with similar entities of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), opening by this, prospects of cooperation for both associations.

In the meetings, according to a report broadcast by TV BRICS on Friday, the main stages of interaction between the BRICS nations, consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, those of the EAEU, and the schemes for financing projects of the two communities, were outlined.

The cooperation will promote the exchange of mutually beneficial experiences and technologies in the fields of infrastructure, logistics, energy, implementation of projects, and the overall sustainable economic development of the countries of both associations.

The New Development Bank of BRICS was founded by the group’s five members in July 2014 during the sixth summit meeting hosted by the Brazilian city of Fortaleza and is headquartered in Shanghai, China.
