According to the MINSAP report, Cuba has accumulated 14,301,394 PCR tests so far to determine the presence of the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus that causes Covid-19, and 1,112,470 contagions since the outbreak of the pandemic in Cuba in March 2020.
All 13 contagions, including six men and seven women, were reported in the provinces of Artemisa, Havana, Cienfuegos, Sancti Spíritus, Camagüey, Las Tunas, and Holguin.
No seriously ill, critical patients or deaths have been reported.
Regarding the vaccination campaign, health authorities stated that 43,421,761 doses of Cuba’s Soberana 02, Soberana Plus, and Abdala homegrown vaccines had been administered nationwide until late February 1.
