According to the FSB, weapons, objects belonging to a Ukrainian armed nationalist organization, as well as communication devices containing schematics of the location of a subsidiary of the Russian Railways company were seized during the operation.
The FSB also revealed that the detainees confessed to having set fire to electrical panels in railways, which the Ukrainian special services paid them for.
The FSB investigative unit opened criminal cases against the detainees under Articles 205 (Terrorist Attack) and 205.1 (Facilitating Terrorist Activities) of the Russian Criminal Code, which bears sentences between 12 years and life imprisonment.
