The African airline told Sputnik this Wednesday that as of June 2, the frequency of flights will reach four a week, and trips will be on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
The dispatch stressed that thanks to the new flight frequencies, Africa, North America, Latin America, and Asia would be even more accessible to Russia.
Ethiopian Airlines, founded in 1945 and operational since 1946, is Ethiopia’s flag carrier and is nowadays Africa’s largest airline.
It currently serves 131 international destinations, including 63 African cities.
