Guyanese president on Tuesday received Soberón, who presented the Letters of Credence as new ambassador in Georgetown.

During the meeting, President Ali pointed out the two countries have a special relation that goes beyond political sphere and expressed his appreciation for Cuba’s support to Guyana’s development, particularly in human resource training.

Ali also stressed Guyana and Cuba may integrate mutual efforts in different areas including food security and production.

Soberón Luis, on the other hand, thanked Guyana for its nonstop strong support and acknowledged many areas the two countries can further collaborate to. pll/jcm/rc
