Cuban Ambassador to China Carlos Miguel Pereira and Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Latin American and Caribbean Affairs Qiu Xiaoqi unveiled the piece during an activity, in which, the 64th anniversary of the revolutionary triumph on the island was celebrated.
The post office of international friendship at Jintai Art Museum made the envelope. Its design includes the official image of President Diaz-Canel and one of the 20 stamps allegorical to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
The signature of the Cuban president appears on the center of the envelope, and an inscription reaffirming the unbreakable friendship between both socialist nations is underneath.
The ambassador underlined the relevance of Diaz-Canel’s trip to China and indicated that it opened a new chapter in the development of friendly cooperation and bilateral ties in a scenario of policies of blockades, sanctions, and the negative effects of Covid-19 pandemic.
Díaz-Canel made a brief and intense visit to China on November 24-25, which included official talks and the signing of important agreements in multiple sectors.
