According to a statement from the Italian Foreign Ministry and published on Saturday by La Stampa and La Repubblica newspapers, indicated that upon learning of these events, Italian foreign minister contacted both diplomatic offices to express solidarity and call for a prompt clarification of these attacks.

Italy´s diplomatic property in Barcelona was attacked by individuals who broke windows and stained a wall of the infrastructure.

On the other hand, in Berlin, unknown individuals set fire to the car of an Italian diplomat.

Italy´s Foreign Minister ordered to immediately open an investigation as well as reinforce the diplomatic offices and to protect its diplomatic staff, according to the official note.
