Participants in the high-level round tables will explore UK’s cooperation with Caribbean initiatives, the multidimensionality of the environment of threats and capacity building through training, consultation and initiatives, the communiqué explained.
The Barbadian chief of the Defense Staff, Commodore Errington Shurland, and his United Kingdom counterpart, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, will be among the keynote speakers.
The previous conference took place in September 2021 in Antigua and Barbuda, where participants shared experiences on natural disaster mitigation, drug trafficking, human trafficking, arms smuggling, organized crime and emergencies caused by atmospheric phenomena.
