Borjana Kristo, the first female Prime Minister leading the central Government, has received support from 23 of 42 lawmakers of the central Parliament.
It consisted of nine ministers representing the Serbs, Muslims, and Croats who make up the nation.
Kristo, a 61-year-old jurist, defined as her priorities the country’s rapprochement to the European Union (EU), a candidate for membership since December, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), although the Bosnian Serbs are opposed to the integration in a military alliance.
