As reported by the press service of the Duma on Monday, Volodin is accompanied by the heads of the parliamentary committees on Security, Transport, International Affairs and Financial Markets.
The Russian delegation and their Iranian counterparts will hold a joint commission meeting on the first day of sessions to discuss regional security, fight against international terrorism and cooperation in the Caspian Sea Basin.
The agenda includes a meeting between Volodin and the head of the Iranian Parliament, Mohamad Baqer Qalibaf, where they will address the progress of bilateral relations in the legislative sphere.
