Mexico City’s MORENA Party reiterates support for Claudia Sheinbaum

Mexico City, Jan 23 (Prensa Latina) MORENA President in Mexico City Sebastián Ramírez Mendoza reiterated support for Claudia Sheinbaum, head of Government, and on Monday called on the militancy to close ranks in the face of right-wing attacks.

During the 2nd Ordinary Session of the State Council of MORENA-Mexico City, Ramirez Mendoza called on the presidents of the Sectional Committees to take to the streets and inform citizens of the actions promoted by Sheinbaum to make this city a democratic space of social inclusion and rights.

Our head of Government and the project we represent have an unprecedented campaign that includes our mayors. It is time to close ranks, talk to the people and explain what is happening, what they are doing, and why.

Ramírez highlighted the inheritance that Mexico President Andrés Manuel López Obrador leaves MORENA supporters: a new trend of thought called Mexican Humanism.

In that sense, he said, it is indispensable that all those who are part of the Fourth Transformation participate in the institutionality of the National Regeneration Movement (MORENA) and the Fourth Transformation.
