Buenos Aires, Jan 19 (Prensa Latina) The general secretary of the Central de Trabajadores de Argentina (CTA), Hugo Yasky, urged today to carry out popular mobilizations to support holding a political trial against the members of the Supreme Court of Justice ( CSJ).

In statements to the FutuRock radio station, the also deputy of the Frente de Todos (FdT) denounced the links between that body, opposition sectors and large companies such as Grupo Clarín and considered it necessary to carry out this process.

The alignment between these powers generated the political ban of Vice President Cristina Kirchner and the detention for seven years of the social leader Milagro Sala, he indicated.

In a joint communiqué, the CTA, the Autonomous CTA, the Trade Union Front and the Federal Workers’ Current supported the Government’s request to hold such a trial against the CSJ, while defending the full validity of the Constitution, the division of powers, federalism, labor and human rights.

At the beginning of this month, President Alberto Fernández and 11 governors asked to analyze the head of the Court, Horacio Rosatti, and his colleagues Carlos Rosenkrantz, Juan Carlos Maqueda and Ricardo Lorenzetti for poor performance of their duties.

Based on the request of these authorities, the FdT legislators prepared a document made up of 410 pages, which details the violations committed by the members of the highest court and proposes summoning them to appear before the Impeachment Commission that will carry out the research.

Both texts ensure the existence of “an inadmissible institutional degradation that jeopardizes the republican system of division of powers.”

As they explain, this occurred mainly due to actions of the CSJ such as the declaration of unconstitutionality of Law 26,088, which had been in force for 16 years and established the functioning of the Council of the Magistracy.

The Court also favored the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires with the increase in co-participating funds and issued a precautionary measure to force the State to pay this increase to this capital, even when this is not contemplated in the approved Budget for 2023.

In addition, they denounce the negotiations between Rosatti’s spokesman, Silvio Robles, and the capital’s Minister of Justice and Security, Marcelo D’Alessandro.

Through Robles, the president of the CSJ developed specific political operations, executed through arbitrary rulings, they add.

On the other hand, they assure that Rosatti designed an illegal maneuver, through which he irregularly assumed the presidency of the Court; he took the Judicial Council by assault and manipulated its integration.
